The Cabool Community Center YMCA, a 43,630 square foot facility, is closer to becoming a reality thanks to a $2 million state contribution.
The Cabool Community Center YMCA committee's mission is to build and sustain a new anchor institution to enhance the quality of life for all ages in the community and surrounding areas.
In June 2025, the committee secured $2 million in state funding. State Rep. Bennie Cook, R-Houston, and State Sen. Karla Eslinger, R-Wasola, helped secure the money.

Rental space for family events
Site for large civic events, banquets, expos & entertainment
Improvement of health & well-being of community members
